As long as the warranty is good and the inspector finds no issues, I'm OK with it.

There are so many more questions I need answered before I can give you my thoughts...but I wouldn't rule out a home just because of it. Yes that could be an issue but dig deeper.

I advise buyers and sellers in FLORIDA the only ground in which they can have confidence is the ground that has had remeidiation. There is a 300 page engineering report to support the 'solid ground' claim.
It all that unknown ground you need to worry about.
Now, I am not exactly sure what the defination of a 'terrible idea' is. If you got the house for $1, would it still be terrible?

I don't believe so if the work was done well and there's a transferrable warranty. But I would have my buyers have it checked out by a structural engineer "just to make sure."

No, as long as the work was done properly. Any part of a house can be repaired and/or improved, from the bottom of the footers to top of chimney.

Shuchi Agrawal if there is a lifetime transferrable warranty, why should one worry?

No as long as you have the means to fix it. Is it built into the price and or is the price reasonable. Face it, the earth moves and shifts.

I think that as long there is full disclosure, any inspections the buyers wish to have done completed and reviewed and the buyers know for what they're signing up, it's all good.

Not necessarily. Just be aware of what was done and what the effect will likely be going into the future.
