So I got bored and left them there, they were just dead weigh to me.  Better down that road, without that load.     -Neil Young , from "Thrasher" No one likes to give up,  but sometimes the weight of the mission is considerably more profound than the fruit of the goal.   Often, other people can be too stubborn to pull off a project or goal.  Or maybe their goals do not align with yours.  When we exhaust all options, we move on.  We have all been in that position. But what if the mission is simply more difficult than what originally projected?  And the fruit is as bright and as big as it was at the onset?    You find a way.  Because if you do not find a way, you will find an excuse.  Unless the mission is riding your bicycle from the US directly to Europe,  find a way. Some missions / goal...

I'm sure we ALL have been victims of double standards in business and in life in general. It's not a fun position to be in. We seem to see it often in politics as well but I'm NOT going there. The first Real Estate Broker I worked under had a huge blind spot when it came to double standards. He didn't put up with cheating and theft of in house customers unless you were the top/higher producing agent in a dispute with another agent. He who produces the most is right... even if they are wrong. This is why I left my first broker. My second broker just had his favorites, period. As they say, the third time is the charm. My third Broker, Mr. Earl Allen, was a straight shooter. He was one of the most misunderstood and disliked Brokers in the MLS because he always said what he thought and as far...

I received a comment this am on an older post where the agent, who I am not familiar with, repeatedly referenced specific commissions by percentage.   Not being a fan of anti-trust violations, I deleted the comment without referencing it.It is not my job to educate strangers.   And I wasn't up for any early am conflict.  Years ago at my first broker, I received some VERY good and strong training on dealing with discrimination and anti-trust issues.  I remain forever grateful, and feel bad for those who were never trained properly on these two crucial issues. My cell:  (609) 864-8164My website:   https://michaelelliott.fathomrealty.com/

Life events can have a major impact on what you need from your home, and retirement is one of the biggest changes many of us face. This period of your life can mean doing more of the things you enjoy, like traveling, visiting with loved ones, or taking on new hobbies. But what does that mean for your home?If you’re looking for ways to focus more on the important things in your life, the answer could be downsizing.
