The First Time I Went Skiing at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in West Virginia

I never learned how to ski as a child. So, my husband planned a ski weekend at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in West Virginia. So, I had my first ski lesson when I was 35 and was practicing on the "bunny" trail. Needless to say, I was persuaded to go down one of the bigger trails. Now I was okay until we actually stood at the top and looking down....OMG, I was terrified. But, hey, down the slope I went....falling every five feet. Men, women, AND children were skiing right past me. It was not fun! The one thing I learned to do VERY well......was how to get up after falling soooo many times...I was told that was the hardest part. Really!!
