If you would like to purchase a new bra to donate, or buy one for your...

Bruce Macdonald's art exhibit is at the Cooper Gallery.  I attended Bruce Macdonald's art exhibit and reception held at Cooper Gallery on First Friday, July 7th. The exhibit was free and opened to the public. Two paintings were sold while I was there. The exhibit is still on display.  Bruce Macdonald says "barns tell stories and they speak to me. They speak of history, of time past, of labor; they speak of directed purpose and association -- with the cattle, chickens, horses, the hay, the tractors, rakes and pitchforks that sheltered in them  --  going back to America’s roots.  Their speech is plain but clear. Their stories vary but at their core they reflect honesty, history and labor. And it’s not just the boards and beams, barns are the projection screen of the land, the sky, sun, ...

Do you love popcorn? I do!  A few weeks ago at the Lewisburg Farmer’s Market, I met John Brock of Kettle Corn.  There is nothing like the smell of freshly popped popcorn.  If you haven’t tried Kettle Corn you are missing out on some very delicious popcorn. I purchased a large bag, and ate the entire bag in two days while sitting at my computer blogging. Below are photos of John Brock popping more corn to sale at the Farmer's Market.  How John Makes Kettle Popcorn!   First, using a large kettle, add oil and sugar, and corn on the side.  Mix the oil and surgar. Make sure you have fireproof gloves, a coat and a cover for the face as the fire gets really hot.   Turn up the fire and continue stirring until popping stops.
