In Lewisburg, West Virginia, we have had over a foot of snow, and it is still snowing. It is a beautiful, winter wonderland.   A great day to stay inside and finish my baking.  While I was baking, my husband decided to start shoveling the snow from the garage entrance.  Then the neighbors kids came over to shovel snow from the front entrance.  But, alas, it was just tooooo big of a job for all, as we have a circular driveway.  So, the solution was......the snow plow.   By the time everyone had finished their hot chocolate, the driveway was snow free...well except for the new fallen snow that just keeps coming down.....down.....down.        Neighbor kids (William and Theresa) shoveling the front entrance.       My husband, Claude, shoveling the garage entrance.   Anthony Kesler, removi...

I got up about  6:30 a.m. today.  When I opened the front door to let Zeke, my chocolate lab out, it was starting to snow.  Within 30 minutes, this is what I saw.    From the front door     View from the back deck   The accumulation so far is about five inches of snow, and it is still snowing.  The neighbor's children are sleigh riding in our yard, as the yard is sloped in the back and excellent for sleighing.     Ah, it is beginning to really feel like Christmas!!!!!   __________________________________________________________________ Rebecca Gaujot, REALTOR® | 304-520-2133 Coldwell Banker | Stuart & Watts Real Estate Thinking of buying or selling a house, call me...Your WV Real Estate Connection for Lewisburg, WV/Greenbrier County. The 25th annual  "Taste of Our Town"  (TOOT) was held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 11:00 am-3:00 pm.  This event is a benefit for Carnegie Hall.   Residents and visitors from across the region gathered on the historic streets of downtown Lewisburg to sample delicacies from local restaurants, civic clubs and organizations.    The main street in Lewisburg and some side streets were blocked off for this annual event.  This year, TOOT tokens had to be purchased, as the vendors did not accept cash in exchange for food.   TOOT is fun for the whole family from....live entertainment, clowns, tasting foods, face painting, and so much more.   If you left TOOT hungry....well, all I can say is you missed out on some great foods and oh, so many different desserts.  My husband and I have been...
