      The 4th annual Greenbrier Valley Wheels of Hope, sponsored by the Greenbrier Valley Bicycle Club. Will take place Lewisburg and end back in Lewisburg. There will be three routes availalbe 21, 56, & 86 miles for those who participant. The event was a great success last year with 123 riders from all over the country, it also raised $12,000.00. The event proceeds fgo toward cancer survivorship. Part of the proceeds go the Lukemia and Lymphoma Society but the remainder stays in the Greenbrier Valley for patients fighting the disease. Offering them gifts of hope and support and spiritual and of course physical healing in their fight against cancer.     The Carnegie Hall Film Series will return on April 12, 2010. Beginning at 7:00 pm this event will show the 2009 Spanish Film "Broken Embraces". The film producer was Pedro Almodavar and was nominated by for the 2010 Golden Globe Award. The film was also a big hit at Cannes Film Festival, which is the film makers fourth to be seen and choosen for the renound festival. The film stars one of Hollwoods renound actress Penelope Cruz.         The North House was built in 1820 and is a restored house museum located in Academy Park, the heart of Historic Downtown Lewisburg, WV.    The North House was built by John Dunn, a local brick mason who also built several other homes in the area during this period. The bricks used in construction of the house were made of red clay dug from the front lawn and fired in a kiln on the premises.  The architect of the home is of the Federal period and is reminiscent of the Adams or early Greek Revival style.  From the end of the Civil War until the end of the 19th century, the North House was a private residence.  It has also been a Tavern,  and the Greenbrier College for Women.....now the North House is maintained as an historical house and history museum.     The quaint town of Lewi...

This is one of the most exciting events for the festival and contestants can let their love for chocolate show!
