In the Waukesha County Real Estatemarket there are many charming communities. One such community is Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Whether it be Waukesha County Lake homes, Pewaukee Lake homes or any Pewaukee Real Estate this is one beautiful area. It was just awhile ago that a very large project was done and resulted in an amazing new avenue of buildings across the street of Pewaukee Lake. The result are wonderful shops, restaurants, vendors, professional offices, and more that make Pewaukee a must to visit. Are you the mother of a child aged birth to age 5?  Then you need to check out MOPS.  MOPS is a national organization that exists to support and equip mothers to be the best they can be.  There are a number of local chapters, including one that meets at St. Bart's in Pewaukee at night. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and be accepted and supported as the mother you are, look no further.  MOPS in Pewaukee meets on the second Wednesday of the month and provides free childcare. Our meetings include a speaker or activity, some time to connect with other moms and of course, chocolate.  Every MOPS group has its own flavor. Check out these links to learn more: mops.org and MOPS at St. Barts.

I am looking everywhere in this State for relief for some of my clients, but have yet to find it. Granted, I see WHEDA has helped some refinance some homes but the help could not come fast enough for many. The commercial sector is what it is, and negotiating commercial short sales is no picnic. It is a new year and I always like the thought that change come with it. However, it seems to be a continuance of the old dog and pony show. A new year does not neccesarily mean a fresh start, but it does mean a fresh supply of unlimited opportunities. Perhaps not, But I would like to think so. I see lots of buyers out, and lots of listings yet I wish the time of normality could return a little faster. It is just amazing what an opportunity exists for buyers in today's market; the rates, the selec...

In management and technology changes each day. The concept of being personalized and creating your own niche is paramount, and really, why would we not just be ourselves. We have been very fortunate to have some of the best customers and clients on Earth. Never under estimate the friendship that can develop with having such customers and clients, let alone being grateful for their loyalty. We have always prided myself on being personal, but at the same time we will make that commitment to work harder than a rented mule, but always working smarter just as well. Granted, our market has seen changes lately, but I have seen this before. Just when you think it has been slow for too long, and you have worked four times as hard to make a living, it all of a sudden takes off like wild fire. It ...

Today, Valentines Day, about 30 members from No Wisconsin Puppy Mills Organization (including my sister and I) protested against the Petland Petstore in Pewaukee, WI.  This store, and many like them, buys its puppies from puppy mills. I have done many posts about why we are boycotting this pet store chain in the past, along with ending puppy mill misery in the US, HSUS's investigations on this pet store chain and others, etc. Please see those posts, or go to www.hsus.org, or www.nowisconsinpuppymills.com for more information. I had to forward these horrific photos of some of the puppies in this particular store.  Now, I ask you...do these pups look happy and healthy?  No blankets, toys or anything in their wired bottom cages.   We have spoken with employees and former employees of th...

We have been in the property management business for sometime now and it never ceases to amazes me all the avenues that some residents care to travel down.  We have some residents that are the BEST and we could not ask for better ones.  however, we have had our share of less than admirable residents.  As before, and even more important these days, it is important to do a complete background check during your rental application process.  Please follow back to our blog for upcoming articles regarding more information, examples and amusing antidotes.    Sincerely, Be sure to visit one of the greatest property management sites you could need at www.morgenson.com

I have a tendency to try to eat a lot healthier these days, but if you asked Lars he would say the World evolves around french fries. Lately, I had a chance to recognize just how people will remember something like Lars in comparison to myself. I like to get my dog some fries or a dish of vanilla ice cream when ever I have the chance. My dog likes to ride with me often and I know he has been remembered when the nice young lady in the McDonald's recognizes us and asks "Does he want anything with those fries" I actually looked at the dog and was waiting for a response or a gesture as to he needed a cheeseburger or anything else. As I drove away I thought it would be great one day when all I have to do is just show up and clients will be all but open arms to great me. After five minutes or...

When I was younger I always heard lots of interesting innuendos about Pewaukee, and Pewaukee Lake. One in particular made me actually think it could hurt someone. The big thing was to stop at every bar around Pewaukee Lake and stop at every bar for a bar. This, in my eyes, not only would be dangerous, but crazy. There was seventy two bars at the time. Wouldn't that be a nice conversation with that individual! Gangsters used to come to Pewaukee to have a good time as well. I personally think one of the craziest things we used to do with my friends was to get on the Lake, when it was frozen over, and everyone was on the Lake ice fishing, with our VW bug. My friends were absolutely crazy. That VW bug saw railroad tracks, motor cross tracks, and more. The Lake was pretty crazy though. My fr...
