Minong Flowage/Cranberry Lake The Minong Flowage is a 1,564-acre impoundment of the Totogatic River created by a dam completed in 1937.  Most of its bottom is sand; its maximum and mean depths are 21’ and 9’. Minong Flowage final dam repairs completed Feb. 17. March 6, 2014 Minong Flowage dam repair update. Final repairs were completed during the week of February 17 and successfully tested on February 25. The Wisconsin DNR has agreed on a plan to proceed immediately with the refill. On the downstream side of the Minong Flowage dam Looking upstream from the dam. The project is currently scheduled to begin in May of next year, and the water level of the entire flowage will be dropped by approximately five feet throughout the summer and fall.
