 Congrats to Brad Pitt for his "pink project."The Active Rain Eco-All-Stars "Pink" Challenge:My dream green home in Madison, WI...  if money were no object.  Being green is really about community and therefore the whole area and how it is designed is important-my home would be part of a conservation subdivision.I would have landscape that is natural for my area.  For Madison, WI this would be prairie plants.  Plenty of room for my organic garden!  (Probably a community garden)The home would have a combination of: solar and wind for my electricity, solar hot water, geothermal heating and cooling.  I couldn't pick just one, they all would have to work together.A must for my home is a healthy green interior: no voc paint, cork floors, recycled glass countertops, healthy carpets, etc...My h...

It's been quite awhile since I've been back here. I had some family things to attend to and what not.  good to be back!  I had a rude awakening on my way back; earlier this week I received an email pertaining to Zillow dot com. After registering and looking around I went in and posted an article under the Buyers section. I gave a couple of quotes, supplied the author and cited the necessities. Surely I'm the new kid on the block within these waters; I presented an article I thought was interesting and relevant to the Buyers Forum and placed my professional opinion not a sales pitch.
