  Forbes.com just released their recent survey results, which list Madison as the best city to find a job.   Their findings were based on Madison's job growth and low unemployment rate of 3.5 percent in October, while the national rate was 6.5 percent.  My step-daughter who just graduated from college would disagree, but she is new to the job market.  She's been job hunting since this past summer and is finding it tough, but statistics don't lie!
