I came across this article and think its a good read. There are some interesting predictions here of what is going to not be around after 2009, one of the big ones arguing that Twitter better watch its behind. One of the reasons they target Twitter is that Twitter has no business model aka how on earth is the Twitter company itself actually going to make money? Cloud everything seems to be the way software is heading and if you don't know what the cloud is you should. This is something that you will be left behind on.   Anyways everyone is looking for storage solutions and if you own more than one computer it gets annoying keeping certain things synced between them. For one thing I am still looking for a good email solution and I am really getting tired with Outlook's lack here, so if anyone has any good suggestions please tell me. Anyways, I came across this article and it made me think a lot about media coverage and what an impact it can have. Basically the author writes that Windows 7 does look interesting but it may have been as simple as media coverage why Windows 7 seems so appealing while Vista got such a bad rap. As he points out after using Vista from the start, what the media covered and what was actually true were two very distinct things. I can attest to that as well. Eau Claire Wisconsin Real Estate   Motorola is introducing a new phone that is made out of recycled plastic bottles. I guess thats a good thing but too bad people would just stop using plastic water bottles to begin with! Anyways... the phone looks good and anything to stop wasting materials can't be all that bad. They are also introducing some other efforts to reduce waste and fight emissions. One way was to introduce the product in recycled packaging. Wow, now thats a novel idea. Eau Claire Wisconsin Real Estate Very few people have actually seen it, the dark side that is. From earth it is impossible to see. It was the 40th anniversery of seeing it on December 24th. One thing to note is that there isnt actually a dark side of the moon and that all sides of it are actually lit. The article is rather good and it looks like the technology can be used for many other purposes as well. Apparently Obama and company have plans to scrap the new program and try to use old military rockets to continue space exploration. Of course every scientist involved thinks this is a bad idea and it is. I don't understand why we should be cutting any spending on science and technology. Eau Claire Wisconsin Real Estate Here is an interesting article talking about how Google is dealing with your privacy and data on the Internet. Basically many groups are calling for Google to stop hoarding this data and allow people to opt out. Google currently uses the data to try to bring advertising that is geared towards the individual and they argue this is necessary to achieve better content and search results.
