The Classic Golf Course And Community (Spanaway, WA)

Last year we went to Spanaway Park just south of Tacoma to see Fantasy Lights. It was a blast and a wonderful 2 mile drive through a holiday light show that is spectacular! Fantasy Lights is a Pierce County Parks and Recreation production and is celebrating it's 19th year. It's the largest holiday drive through display in the Pacific Northwest, about a 2 mile drive in total through Spanaway Park. This year it features over 300 displays created by local and regional businesses that strobe, sparkle, and move. I love the animated one's like Santa on the motorcycle, the kite flying bears, the reindeer leaping over your car, and the giant pirate ship. I got lucky with the weather being sunny and a bit breezy in late winter as I started my mid morning round at The Classic golf course in Spanaway, WA. http://www.classicgolfclub.net/index.htmlSpanaway is south of highway 512 and east of Fort Lewis and I-5. It has many different directions into and out of the area. The housing market in this area I will get to shortly. But I wanted to boast about this course first.First and foremost I must mention that The Classic is home of PGA touring pro Ryan Moore. Who is doing quite well for the start of the 2007 season. As for the course, in my opinion is the best public course to play in either Pierce or King county.
