This has got to be one of the most unique and beautiful places to live or visit in the world. The stunning back drop of whats called the Coulee Wall carved out for many thousands of years by catastrophic Ice Age Floods is peppered with pristine lakes , abounding with fish and widlife. One lake in particular, SoapLake, is known for its healing qualities worldwide and because of its unique mineral makeup it supports no fish. It is used year round to soak away aches and pains and skin disorders. Steep cliffs of rock and lava appear to the north which have helped create an exotic creamy black mud that is much sought after. Today my friends and I went to the beaches of Soap Lake,Wa. It was wonderful to take a day off from my busy real estate business and dare I say turn my phone off.   The beach was clean, water warm and the sand very hot. Our temperature was about 103 degrees. We made our way down to the beach with bucket in hand. What's the bucket for you ask? The mud we dig up from the bottom of the lake which is smooth as butter. We then put it all over us including the face. The face is the hard part because the mud has a very mineral smell and you have to get use to it. Once you do that it's time to sit and wait for it to dry.  Wow , what a weekend! I entered into a tough negotiation with multiple buyers on the same property. I stayed in close contact with my buyer by cell phone ,calling back and forth every few minutes to update our positin . I am happy to report that we had the winning offer with out having my buyer get into a bidding war position . I had been working with them for about 6 mo. looking for the perfect house and by george we got it!Kat Sanderson
