 Strong buyer demand fuels Northeast Seattle’s real estate market This Week: The median list price in Northeast Seattle (zip code 98125) is $517,000 is up from  from  last week’s $500,000.  Inventory is tightening and days-on-market is falling.  The Market Action Index (see below MAI chart) shows demand heating up.  These are relatively bullish signs for prices.    . Northeast Seattle’s Best Breakfast Restaurant By the length of the lines this last weekend the word is out, Patty’s Eggnest Restaurant is serving up some great daily breakfast and lunch specials for the Maple Leaf, Pinehurst and Victory Heights neighborhoods of Northeast Seattle.  Sunday we had a gathering over at our house and somebody brought up Patty’s Eggnest, at least 3 others raved about it, one other neighbor said they got there around 10 AM Sunday and the wait was around 45 minutes so hunger forced them to move on.  I just picked up a weekly specials menu and I can see why they’re developing a fast word-of-mouth following.  With such favorites as carne asada breakfast burrito, pumpkin pancakes, Oktoberfest Scramble with bratwurst, onions, mushrooms and cheddar cheese.  No wonder...

   Real estate demand increases in Northeast Seattle The median list price in northeast Seattle (zip code 98125) is $354,750  is unchanged from the  previous week’s  $354,750.   Demand measured by Market Action Index (MAI see chart below) is increasing  and days-on-market is trending downward.  Even as more properties come available, these are positive trends for the market.   Check in  next week to see how the housing market in northeast Seattle  is shaping up.
