I was watching an episode of some show on HGTV (don't shoot me) and as the buyers were walking through the front door they mentioned how they like it.  It was of course a red door.  Don't know how red front doors became so popular (probably because its bold), but this front door was hideous.  Sure it was red but the paint job was a bit to be desired.  We all know the front door is a first impression and should be at its best.  I have had white doors on every home I have ever owned but one and that door, which was a double door entry was pointed a blue color, sort of like a cornflower blue, it matched the shutters.  I always wished they had not ruined the original natrual wood with the paint.  I was always going to paint it white.  Here is a link to House Beautiful and some Front Door Pa... 02/11/2012

Port Orchard Police Officers Injured in Walmart Shooting It is a sad day in Port Orchard, WA today. Two Police Officers were shot and two people dead at a shooting at Walmart in Port Orchard today. I heard the news on TV this afternoon while enjoying the football game. It's bad enough the every day violence in our country, but when people start shooting Police Officers it just makes me angry. They are there to keep the piece and to protect everyone else. When you take them out, the rest of us feel a little less safe. In addition, they risk their lives everyday they are working. Ok, it is true, that is a song from Seseme Street! It was about  how somethings you cannot control are just.... unjust! I guess in my frustration my brain leads me back to something as simple as a goat singing about getting maaaaaad to cope with frustration. I had a client that got scammed by one of those "I will get you a loan modification" companies (now referred as "Scummy-Co"). The owners  sent Scummy-Co $2000 months ago and were told to send any communication from their mortgage company to Scummy-Co. Scummy-Co told them to send their mortgage company $500 a month while in negotiations. They did. When they got their notice of trustee sale they sent a copy to Scummy-Co.
