Jefferson County Association of Realtors is an amazing one woman operation that takes care of our supplies, as well as our listing and preview needs. Located between Port Townsend and Port Ludlow in the Shold Business Park near the WSU extension office, there is a one room shop with access to a conference room and waiting room. Lisa St. John who was once a Realtor herself is very knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating.  Most important is that she  understands our needs, and knows the products well.   Lisa takes care of the website herself with how-to videos and lots of important information. She is always available to help with our CE classes, broker preview and social events. Our board has gone from a high of near 150 members to the current 90. Wow, I have finally learned my lesson and it was an expensive one!  Dogs need to have their teeth brushed every day.  I have the world's greatest vet right here in Port Hadlock, Dr. Ginny Johnson.   She kept telling me my dog's teeth were collecting plaque and did not look too good and I would go home thinking, yeah I have to do better.  I had Lulu's done in December (4th time) after I sold a small commercial building and felt I could afford to make the expenditure, but waited to do Teddy's. Now, after just spending over $500 and watching my youngest little guy Teddy Bear in pain after having four teeth pulled, I am a believer and feeling pretty guilty. Rose Hare from RE/MAX FIRST, INC. was seen in Port Hadlock Washington driving a lawn mower!! The lawn mower was sponsored by Mountain Propane. She was doing quite well until the machine blew a belt. She was in second place. Port Hadlock Days 2008 was the scene of this monumental and fast paced race among "muscle" mowers. 07/12/2008
