So many times when I go to visit family or friends in living facilities, you walk in the door and the mood is depressing.  The décor is not upbeat or fashionable, instead it is drab and less than uplifting.  I found a place that will make you forget that you are in a living facility at all.  The buildings are new and modern.  The atmosphere has a more relaxed feel to it.  APPLE TREE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY & ORCHARDS HIGHLANDS LIVING FACILITY You have to check this place out... As you can see above, the facilities have a beautiful security gate to ensure our residents safety.  There is a garden area, as well as, beautiful and relaxing water features for all to enjoy.  We are currently putting in a second water feature with a fountain and seating area behind this building shown above.  T...

I drove by this mural in Orchards, WA on NE Fourth Plain Boulevard and just had to stop and take a picture of it. I've always seen it, but just never stopped to take in all the intracacies of the picture itself.  Believe it or not, it was painted by over 100 volunteers in a "paint by number" fashion. The artist is Guy Drennan and Linda Peterson. If you see it you'll be amazed. It's right in the middle of a busy shopping area of Orchards. It was hard for me to get a good picture because of the busy traffic.
