  The New Steel Worker!   My daughter came to me the other night on Halloween. She had told me that she wasn’t going to dress up this year because she is now 14 years old. Of course the reason for the change was because of her wonderful friends changing their minds as well. I was slammed with trying to help her find a costume.  My husband used to work for Nucor Steel and recently got a new job. When he left Nucor he was able to keep all of his coveralls and hard hat because they had his name on them. My husband said it would make a great costume. To my surprise my daughter agreed too! Should the Mortgage Interest Deduction be phased out Gig Harbor?   I came across a very interesting article today in the Costco Connection while I was enjoying my morning cup of Joe. I was very impressed to find this particular article in the Costco Connection magazine, (no offense). It was asking; “Should the mortgage interest deduction be phased out?” It was an article that had two experts weigh in on the subject along with other people like you and me who also weighed in on the topic. I have heard this topic brought up a little bit here and there over the last couple of months, but this time I am paying attention. The Heat is On!  I love this time of year, but I always hate when I get to the point of turning the heat on. I don't know why... It is some mental block that has been en-grained in me from my mother of course. Everything about me that I don't like can always be blamed on my mother. (love you mom) I think for me it means it's the end of summer and the fact that I live in the wonderful northwest, means I don't have to pay for air conditioning. Having to pay that huge increase in monthly bills for my electric bill is crazy. Yes!
