In a statement released Friday, Bank of America said it will stop foreclosure sales until “our assessment has been satisfactorily completed. Our ongoing assessment shows the basis for foreclosure decisions is accurate. We continue to serve the interests of our customers, investors and communities. Providing solutions for distressed homeowners remains our primary focus.” Where as several other financial institutions have halted foreclosure proceedings in many states due to the paperwork debacle, BoA is halting proceedings in all 50 states and is also halting the sales of foreclosed inventory that is currently listed.  There is speculation that other banks may follow suit. So what's the impact?  According to msnbc.com the BofA halts will go into effect on Saturday.  Without knowing exactl...

It's a quiet Saturday afternoon and if I had any doubts about it, I can tell fall has arrived just by the sounds coming off the lake!  It's still warm enough to have the windows open and all day long it's been the sound of geese.  I caught a quick shot of a few of them but as evening comes, the lake will be practically covered!  I love living on Beverly Lake most all of the year but there is something special about fall on the lake! This is my backyard and it can be your's, too! You'll be amazed at how affordable lake front living can be right here in the middle of Everett!

The American Legion Memorial Park in Everett is one of my favorite places to take my daughter and grandkids.  The park stretches over 4 acres and overlooks Port Gardner Bay.  American Legion Memorial Park is located in North Everett and is just north of Everett's Historic Home residential area.  There is no shortage of green field areas in the park to play!                You can't beat these spectacular views of Port Gardner and the Olympic Mountains.  Take a look to the North and you may even see Mt. Baker! (as seen here in the photo below - no, that is not a white cloud - that is Mt. Baker!)                             The American Legion Memorial Park in Everett is host to baseball fields, tennis courts, a picnic area that is covered, one of the largest playgrounds  in the area for ...

I like to inform my blog readers as soon as I find a business that makes excellent food or provides a good service. Today, I am highlighting Conaway Motors in Everett, WA. I've been taking my car to this shop for the last three years. I've always gotten excellent service there. I highly recommend them for any kind of car service. They specialize in foreign cars, but they will work on anything. You don't find too many shops that will tell you when they can't fix something best and actually recommend a place for you to take it. Take your car there for maintenance on your vehicle. Let them know Ron sent you.

The other day I wrote about an event that was happening in Everett this weekend.  EnduroCross Is Coming To Everett This Weekend - September 11, 2010  Un-expectantly, I had the pleasure of spending some time with my 5 year old grandson this weekend so I decided to take him to the pre-event - Wild About Wheels.   It was a great event and Grandma (yours truly), learned about a great tip.  Waste Management is going green and has come up with a great tool for homeowners.  It's called The Bagster.   Did you just purchase a "fixer" property?  Are you taking on a remodel project?  Cleaning out your property?  Normally during one of these types of projects a homeowner could call for a huge metal dumpster to be brought to the property and you would begin filling it up with all of your pounds and ...

Affordable Lake Front Living! Beverly Lake - Everett, WA Tucked away in an Everett neighborhood, a block away from Starbucks and Safeway and only a few minutes from Boeing, is a little known haven of affordable waterfront living!  Beverly Lake is a private, non motorized lake that has no public access.   Surrounded by single family homes, condominiums and two apartment complexes, the lake is only accessible by residents and has no public beaches or boat launch. Motorized water craft are not allowed but the lake is plenty large enough for rowboats, paddle boats and canoes but still small enough to be navigated by inner tube!  Any day of the year, you're liable to see someone fishing on the lake but on a hot summer day, the sounds of splashing children (and adults!)  drift across the wate...

There’s just nothing like owning your own little corner of the earth. Or a big corner of the earth, depending on your preference. Here in the 21st century we may have come a long way, baby, but home ownership is still in vogue. Throughout history the quest for a slice of terra firma has been at the root of innumerable wars, family feuds, and today . . . reality television shows. Weeknights at 7:00pm PST, viewers can get caught up in the house hunting drama from the comfort of your own sofa. House Hunter, thankfully, has nothing to do with ruthless land barons, cutthroat Pharaohs, or spear-wielding Roman zealots. Not in the last episode anyway. The HGTV show does, however, involve excitement, determination, and an otherwise intangible sense of . . . accomplishment. Pride. Satisfaction. F...

Welcome to the "Willis D. Tucker" Off Leash Dog park located in Snohomish WA but some people would consider it located in Everett.  You can find the park at 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish WA. 98296.  There are actually three off leash areas in the park with one large fenced area with agility jumps for the dogs and two smaller (shy dog) areas and some with walking trails.  There aren't alot of signs directing (none) so follow the nice walking trail behind the two baseball fields and you can't miss it.  This is a really nice off leash park so bring your favorite dog over and check it out! For more video's about other off leash dog parks or other real estate video's in the area please visit my Blog at www.EverettAreaRealEstate.com. or contact Joni Kerley with Century21 Real Estate Center...

Welcome to the neighborhood of "Pioneer Trails" located in Southeast Everett WA in Snohomish County.  To get to Pioneer Trails from I-5 take Exit #186 (128th Street) and head East at 35th Ave SE go North for about one city block and you will find the entrance.  When you enter you will enjoy the park like feel to the neighborhood.  Speaking of a park Pioneer Trails has a wonderful park with walking trails, water fountain, kids play area, sport courts.  Most of the homes were built in the late 1980's and early 1990's on large lots.  Pioneer Trails is desired by many families because its so centrally located if commuting to Seattle and its close to the Boeing Company plant in Everett. For more information about Pioneer Trails please contact Joni Kerley with Century21 Real Estate Center at ...

Located in Snohomish County not to far from Everett Mall is wonderful Off Leash Dog Park called Loganberry Lane Park in Everett WA.  Its a nice wooded park with wood chips spread all over the ground. It is almost like a "hiking feel" to the park.  Besides just a good size open area there are several different walking trails that you can take your dog on to work on leash training, obedience or just have some fun with your dog!  To get to the park from Evergreen Way go West on 100th to 18th and go North on 18th to the end of the road. For more off leash dog park video's be sure to take a look at my blog at www.EverettAreaRealEstate.com or contact Joni Kerley at 425-343-4545 View Larger Map

Update: They closed! The last time I drove past, it was closed. So sorry to see this happen - 7/15/2013We're regular customers of 7th Avenue Produce Market, just off 7th Avenue and 112 Street Southeast, Everett, WA. We love their local, beautiful produce, fresh fragrant flowers, and we enjoy the personal customer service and attention we recieve when we visit. It's fun to support the local produce market, and great to see such an enthusiastic business thrive in our neighborhood. The facility is large, open, and modern, with whole walls of windows that lift up in the warm weather. We became devoted shoppers because of the marvelous Christmas Trees they were selling a few years ago. Tall, fresh, and lushly formed sheared Douglas Fir for under $50. Wow; we called every friend we knew. These...
