  Happy Friday! I hope that you have had a lovely week. We had a couple of nice fall days and then some typical rainy/gloomy Seattle October days too. They say wet this weekend – yep I think fall has arrived.   Ready or not time to pull out the boots and sweaters.  And talk about weather – I am actually working on this late Thursday night and I have the news on tracking Hurricane Matthew.   Good morning, I hope you are having a nice week.   For me the week has been  a tad sad.  On Sunday I learned, along with the rest of the world, about the passing of Arnold Palmer.  When I was a little girl, golf on TV on the weekends was a staple in our house.  Hours were spent with my dad cheering on the greats of that era…  Arnie, Gary, Jack, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson and Fuzzy Zoeller to list a few names that still bound about my head.  Sunday’s in the summer were so special.  My sister and her family would come over.  Dad and my brother in-law would often get a round in after church and then it was chicken on the grill, homemade ice cream churning, apple pie and golf.  The other days of the week we cheered on the Big Red Machine!  But on Sundays it was the “G” day….  God and golf :)... 09/30/2016

  I hope that you have had a lovely week. Any big plans for the weekend? I plan to pretty much just chill at home (still trying to get caught up from being gone) and of course watch football and baseball!! Last Sunday we were on the road so I didn’t see any games.   Happy Labor Day! Can you believe that summer is just about over? It sure went FAST – but then I guess that is partly due to the fact that it took a long time for it to arrive this year.
