Happy Friday! Wow what a week Mother Nature has thrown our way!  We got snow and at one point I put a ruler in it and I had well over 7 inches and at that point it was still coming down. Then yesterday I went for the mail – between downpours – and it was downright balmy! Snow all around me – the ditch ready to spill over – and it was warm. They are saying SUN for the weekend. So we should have made everyone happy this week – a little bit of everything. Any big weekend plans? Maybe a little pre-Valentine’s celebration?   Happy Friday!  WOW we have been super windy in my corner of the world.  Lots of downed trees and power outages.  Luckily so far I have escaped both!  They say today will be way calmer, here is hoping! Are you ready for the super bowl?   Good morning!  Oh what a beautiful sunrise we are having this morning!!   THis pic was from a sunrise a few years ago when we had snow.  No snow this winter.  But here is to a sunny day. KOMO weather says we will be near that 50 degree mark. Woo hoo!! I might have to break out my flip flops – ha ha ha! OK not really, 50 is still chilly for this girl – but I will enjoy the SUN.  I am looking to have a quiet day working from home, with lots and lots and lots of kitty snuggles.     Happy Friday!  And WOW, I have no idea where the last week went. I do know, however, that I spent it mostly wrapped up in a blanket – my gosh it’s been cold - thus a pic from my beach vacation - pretending I'm still WARM!  And I feel kind of bad saying that cause compared to much of the US we really have not been that cold – but for us… well I am freezing!  Good morning and Happy New Year! I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and I hope that 2017 is kicking off in style!   I’d like to say that I’ve missed you…  but I cannot tell a lie…  I did not.  OMG we had the best time in Key West.  The weather was just perfect for this sun loving flip/ flop wearing girl!  We got up and watched the sunrise from our balcony every morning.  We watched sunsets from the pier, the beach, Malory Square and from a catamaran.  We drank and ate and drank and walked and drank and shopped and drank and explored and drank.  Yep super chill and exactly what I needed.  I love Christmas and it was hard to ‘skip’ it, but I think for this year it was the right call.   Now back to reality – working on my new normal :)     I hope you enjoy the quotes and I’ll see you ... 01/06/2017

  Happy Friday! I hope this finds your morning starting off nicely. It is another wet start to the day for us, but they say we might see the SUN later today. Here is hoping. We are over 9 inches of rain this month – yep it’s been a bit drippy. I won’t be sharing any quotes next Friday. The Kid and I are off to the beach for a week of R & R.
