I've always liked the Daily Perk. I've been a fan ever since its evolution from a kitschy, 50's inspired coffee counter-style hangout to its current incarnation. The new owner has expanded the eating space, and has done away with the giftshop. Now there's room to stretch out, and wi-fi is now available. Just the other day, between appointments, I stopped in for a quick bowl of soup and coffee. The new owner, Yo, is quite a friendly guy, the quintessential businessman. He promptly introduced himself as the new owner, and spent time between bussing the tea/coffee center and answering employees' questions passing out samples of fresh baked goods to each customer.
