Brier Wa is an amazing Suburb of Seattle - filled with trees and views of the mountains, plus great gathering places for the community -  I count myself fortunate among the ones who live or work there!  Of course a little slower than usual, but there are some beautiful properties on the market.  Active residential only (no condos in this batch) listings available in Brier Washington range in price from $215,000 (!!!) to $1,344,000.  There are 29 active residential listings in Brier right now with an median price of $494,250 and an average days on market of 154 days.  Every single one of them has been on the market longer than 30 days, so obviously there are some sellers out there deciding not to put their houses on the market for the holiday season.  This is certainly more convenient as... 11/24/2008

Yes!  There is actually a great little house in Brier for under $300k!  It is listed at around the $250k mark, but it is a short sale so be prepared for lots of waiting.  This waiting would be worthwhile - what a great price to get into Brier!  Brier homes typically sell in the $350,000 range and up depending on size and condition.  Brier is so lucky to have such a wonderful library - it may be little, but this smaller library packs a punch and offers all the same wonderful perks of other Sno-Isle Regional libraries.  Check out DVDs, CDs, books, etc., and the children's reading section is adorable. I love the convenient online ordering system, too - there is no need to have a huge library if you can order anything in the entire system to be picked up at your local library.  Go through their catalog and order as much as you want - they call to tell you that the items are at the building for pick up and will hold them for a few days if it isn't convenient to pick them all up right away.  There is also a really easy slot for dropping the items back off once you are finished.  If you forget - they will call you, but w... 02/23/2008
