Shrimp season is here. What one of many fun things about living in Anacortes is the great seafood that we get! Crabbing season is open Wednesday-Saturday (check for regs) and the crabbing in the Anacortes area has been great! Now the shrimpers will be selling fresh shrimp on the Anacortes docks. You can find the shrimpers on B dock at Cap Sante 1Pm on Friday and 11 AM on Saturday until the catch runs out. While the number of Anacortes Homes for Sale remands higher than normal, Anacortes Homes continue to sell. For the first 6 months of this year there have been 149 sales with a median price of $475,000 and an average price of  $419,818. The lowest price was $150,000 and the highest was $1,550,000 (a home listed by Jean Groesbeck and Assoc. LLC-Coldwell Banker Island Living).  The average price was $200.45 per square foot. For the first 6 months of last year there have been 172 sales with a median price of $391,500 and an average price of  $449,520. The lowest price was $154,000 and the highest was $1,650,000.   The average price was $206.54per square foot.
