Montpelier Condominiums at the Lane Shops   When people call into my office asking for a condo with one-level living and within walking distance to town, the condos at the Lane Shops and The Foundry are the units that are at the top of the list. These modest two bedroom condos win over on location.     Located right on the North Branch of the Winooski River, the condos at Lane Shops and The Foundry are just a couple of blocks away from the Kellogg Hubbard Library, and the vibrant Main Street. Some of the units have decks or balconies overlooking the river. There’s a footbridge crossing over to Birchgrove Baking for morning croissant and to Meadow Mart for everything else.   The units are a mixture of flats (single level living, be they on the first or the second floor) and townhouses (...

This is why you follow my blog. I just got wind of a new commercial listing on State Street right in downtown Montpelier.  It's the building that Denis, Ricker, and Brown insurance is in.  Three stories, fantastic downtown Montpelier exposure and centralized location.  Right now it's all used for commercial (insurance, law office, and document storage), but with the central business district zoning, there are other options as well. There should be a floorplan available, and when it is, I'll put up a link so anyone who's interested (or curious) can start determining whether the space meets their needs. Click here for more information on the property.  There's just not that much prime Montpelier commercial property that comes on the market, and this is one of those rarities.

Live and Work Right Downtown Montpelier Here's a brand new listing for a home for sale in Montpelier.  It's a four bedroom, two bath single family home.  That's all well and good.  What makes this something special is that it's RIGHT downtown.  Miles Court is off East State Street (about 75 feet from the Heney Realtors office).   It's in the Central Business District, so can be used for office/professional space as well as for residential.   Calling it like it is:  This place needs some cosmetic upgrades (unless you like orange bathrooms).    But, who cares?  Here's a building smack dab in the middle of downtown Montpelier, and it's less than $175,000.   For more information or to schedule a showing of this prime home for sale in Montpelier, just give me a call or send an email.
