  The Nicole R. White Memorial Scholarship honors Nicole’s memory and continues to keep her love of life and compassion to humanity alive. Nicole at the young age 20, was murdered at Virginia Tech along with 31 others on April 16, 2007. Nicole White was a fiery red head from Smithfield, Virginia, who loved life and most of all people and animals. It was through her love, conviction and compassion that she became a very active member in her community and was able to reach out to other communities through her volunteering. The Nicole R.
