Tonight I have been researching the sales activity of Lake Monticello waterfront homes over the past six months for a client.  I thought that some of my readers might be interested in this information as well. There are currently 20 waterfront homes actively listed on the Lake Monticello real estate market.  The prices range from $326,000 to $750,000 and the square footage ranges from 1,232 sq ft to 5,687 sq ft. Fluvanna County's population has grown 31.6% since 2000 according to an article in the Charlottesville Daily Progress.  This places it 8th in Virginia for the time frame according to the University of Virginia's Weldon Cooper Center.  These figures should come as no surprise to residents of Fluvanna or to anyone who was aware of the 60% growth experienced by Fluvanna from 1990-2000.
