I was sitting on a bench at 8:30 this morning in front of the Loudoun County Courthouse in Leesburg Virginia.....waiting for the 9 am scheduled trustees sale of foreclosed property.       I took my camera with me because it is the prettiest courthouse setting of  the three we frequent. The posted photos are the views over my my head on this perfect spring morning. ( the turkey buzzard I photographed yesterday ...while previewing property we planned to bid on...kind of apropos huh?)           15 properties were on the docket...the bank took back 11 with 4 being bid on by the attendees. The mortgage  holder opens the bidding...in most cases bidding the amount owed or close to it. No attendees bid on the 11 the lenders ended up taking back. This weekend my husband and I went to Leesburg, VA.  On Sunday we had lunch at Not Your Average Joe's Restaurant in Landsdowne.  The atmosphere was incredible pleasant and friendly. When we got our orders my husband loved his.  However, I was not so impressed with mine.  Let me say though that I am an incredibly picky eater and it is not unusual for me to not like my entree.  The waiter (John T) asked me if I wanted to take it home with me and when I said no he asked if I had not liked it.  When I answered that it was ok but that I didn't love it he immediately went about trying to rectify the situation.  He offered to get me something else.  The manager then came over and apologized for my not liking the meal.  She took the meal off the bill and then gave us a gift card and a coupon so... 05/17/2010
