Haymarket, VA - Where to see the Fireworks for the 4th of July   Summer is here and the 4th is just around the corner.  Unless you live atop of Bull Run Mountain then hands down I think the best display of fireworks near Haymarket, is at the Great Meadow.  Each year they continue to improve the venue and never dissapoint!   This year's Independence Day Celebration promises more of the same.  The fun begins at 4 pm and lasts until 10 pm ending in 27 minutes of spectacular fireworks.  They will have Adult-supervised games for the kids ages 4-12, including face painting, petting zoos, stick pony races, a rain machine (wonder if they will let "older kids" try?) and much more.   They also will have Helicopter displays and demonstrations, rocketry launches and Polo matches.  General Admission... 06/01/2013
