Celebrating Another Home Sold and a 50th BirthdayYesterday, June 10th (2020) I celebrated my 50th birthday.  And I was excited to celebrate part of it attending a closing for sellers of 15274 Rosemont Manor Drive in Haymarket.  The last few settlements that have happened in my business have been without me at the table.  It is customary for me to attend my closings, but when COVID-19 rolled into town that custom was halted.  Title companies would not allow agents to attend closings.  It was very strange.Knowing for months in advance that this listing in the Market Center Condos was coming, I was most afraid of the potential negative effects of COVID on marketing the property.  After all, it was located across from the Novant UVA Health System Haymarket Hospital.  By all accounts, it sou... 06/11/2020

Are Market Center Condos in Haymarket Still Selling During COVID?The answer is a resounding YES!  On April 30th (2020,) I listed 15274 Rosemont Manor Drive as a Coming Soon listing in Market Center.  Within only a couple days there were already show requests for the day it was scheduled to become active.The virus didn't limit what I did for my seller.  As is typical in a vacant listing, I went in and did some light staging.  And as is my business practice with all my listings, I ordered professional photography.  The condo looked fabulous when it went active on May 7th.After only three days on the market and two showings completed, my sellers got a fabulous offer.  It is scheduled to close on June 10th, so stay tuned for the final sales price.In the meantime, if you had planned on selli... 05/10/2020
