It's official...you can get now get a new construction home from Miller and Smith in Brambleton for less than $500K. And that's with options. Miller and Smith has debuted their "Fanny Ward" single-family model beginning at $439,900. In addition, Miller & Smith is offering $30,000 in options and $15,000 in closing costs (if you use their lender and title company). The "Fanny Ward" model is smaller than the popular "Rhapsody" model, but it's still around 2,000 square feet on the upper two levels with another 800 finished square feet available in the basement. The home will be built on the current Rhapsody lots and has many of the same standard features (e.g. granite, hardwood, appliances). This may be a great option for those who are either cost-sensitive and leaning toward a townhome and...

Again, Ashburn is selling very well.  It is a little easier to see in 20147 where there are few new homes still being built compared to each of these neighborhoods.  Most new homes sales are not listed in the MLS.  See Stats- Ashburn's 20148 (Broadlands, Brambleton, Loudoun Valley) Sales Stats

According to a recent poll on how consumers intend to spend their stimulus checks, 19% of consumers plan on using their economic stimulus check for a special purchase, and 23% plan to use their check for everyday expenses. The rest...well, 36% say they will pay down debt and 22% say they will put it into savings. But will the check burn a hole through their pockets? Maybe so, particularly with the "stimulus check" specials that many retailers have come up with, offering bonuses and incentives for people who spend their "stimulus" dollars with them. Here are some examples, in case you want to take advantage of any offers: Sears. If you use your stimulus check to purchase a gift card, you receive an additional gift card worth 10% of your check's value. This offer is also good at Kmart and...

I know that the media is very convincing that the sky is falling.  Some are you are believing it and are going to hold out no matter what the numbers say.  For those of you who just need a boost of confidence this should do it.  I have outlined 2 of the largest communities in Ashburn 20148.   These numbers do not include condos.  The average sales price means little when you know that I am mixing foreclosure townhomes with large single families.  Nevertheless, look how many homes are under contract! The Broadlands and Brambleton have very little supply left compared to demand we are seeing.  Now both of these communities have homes left to build, especially Brambleton, that are not included in these stats.
