Trolley Square Mall (Salt Lake City, UT)
A Salt Lake City Mall with an historic feel. The other day I saw it as a shopping center, but the buildings that make up Trolley Square Mall have a longer history. Trolley Square is located 600 South 700 East in Salt Lake City. It was opened in 1909 as the trolley barns for Salt Lake City's trolley car system and served for that purpose until 1945. Due for demolition in 1972, the trolley barns were saved to become the shopping center with an Old West flavor.
