Why you should use WA Electric in Trinity, Texas   This past Wednesday, as I was working on my laptop at the office a warning popped up and said “you have 18 more minutes of battery left.”   What? It’s plugged in.   So...   I checked   to make sure the connection was good to the computer (√)   the surge protector to make sure that it was was turned on (√)   to make sure the surge protector was plugged into the wall (√)   the other plugs for power (-)    B I N G O !   The ceiling fan and fluorescent lights in the office worked fine, but none of the plugs in the office were working.   Our building was built in 2007 and so we just called the same folks that put the wiring in. WA Electric in Trinity. Who would know the building better? Besides that.... my previous broker (Werner Realty) swo...

Trintiy Florist It’s not just for Birthday’s anymore!     I just love the folks that work at Trinity Florist. When I go in, it’s like stopping over at a friends house and getting them to go shopping with me!   Of course, I use them as my florist. WHO doesn’t?! They are the best!  BUT... they are so much more than just a florist!     Take a look at the photos and you will see that you could spend hours in this store and STILL not see everything. Here’s a small list of things that I have purchased at Trinity Florist over the years.       Hot pink rhinestone covered watch (VERY COOL!) You know how I love my cheap gaudy jewelry!! FAITH Embellish magnetic board for my office. Art Work for my office wall (Amazing Grace). A Red Hat Lady glass blown Christmas ornament for my secret sister! Wil...

Trinity River Bridge I was inspired to post this photo by Steve Hoffacker's post: Friday's Foto: Wide Angle View. Steve's photo had lots of lines in it and it reminded me of this photo that I shot of the Trinity River Bridge. The sun was setting and it gave the bridge a slightly orange glow! I saw it in my rear view mirror (it wasn't orange from the other side). I had to turn around and go back for a shot! Being a Bearkat (Sam Houston State University)..... I had to! Go Bearkats!!

Yesterday Mike and I FINALLY closed on this beautiful 68 Acre tract in Trinity County! This has been pending since my Colorado trip in September (and it was a cash deal!). After a much anticipated wait, we are thankful to report that we have a happy buyer and happy sellers -- which makes for TWO HAPPY AGENTS! Just in time for Christmas! Mike Morrison of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Trinity, Texas was the selling agent and I was the listing agent! Are we blessed, or what?!

Eight People in the Butler's Pantry              What I Love About Being a Realtor  A surprise by its very definition is unexpected.  And often, the unexpected joys in life are the ones that keep us doing what we do.  I have had the pleasure of helping numerous families find home.  And, among those families, a couple of pretty large families.  Families with 5 children (yes, each) to find a home they all love. What I didn't expect was to find the joy of connecting with the children that I have missed so much since leaving the teaching/Choral Director profession.  I taught voice and choirs for 25 years.  And with a very special young lady from, I had the opportunity to teach a voice lesson beside a picturesque pond on a beautiful property that will welcome a family ready to fill the house...

House of Hope ~ Trinity, Texas If you are looking for a great place to Pay it Forward this Christmas season, a place where your money will stay local and help those in your own back yard.... look no further!  House of Hope in Trinity, Texas can use your help!! House of Hope is a faith based ministry that teaches ladies how to overcome drug and alcohol abuse through the blood of  Jesus Christ.  The reason most rehab work does not last is because the person tries to do it themselves... instead of turning it over to Christ, who can do all things! The secular 12 step programs have you turn it over to a higher power. What's that? No wonder they don't work. The only living "higher power" that can do anything about this is God - and not "as you see him". I am talking -- The God!  The Holy Spir...

This place is Gorgeous--Check out the brief video (perfect for folks with attention span of a Humming Bird--like me)  Go ahead, check out the video, it's less than 2 minutes with lots of frame changes.  Westwood Shores is the subdivision.  Located less than an hour and a half from Houston, Westwood Shores is a relatively unknown treasure situated on Lake Livingston, a constant level 88,000 plus surface acre lake.  The neighborhood has golf, tennis, 2 pools, a campground--it has just about everything.  And, get this for the $98.00/month combined fee, you get to play all the golf you want with NO additional greens fees!  That rocks. Oh, and by the way, I just reduced the price on a lakefront property there to $188,500---2281 sq ft and NICE www.11IndianHarbor.com  Don't want Lakefront, how...
