  Have you had a "Selfie Summer"? Summer is slipping away so make the most of it! Summer is my favorite time of the year! I love patio sitting, riding our Harley, going to the beach, outdoor concerts, swimming and  the movies! I have had an awesome summer with a new grandson, a daughter graduating from college, a 1st annual family reunion, my grandaughter visiting for 6 weeks, my son getting a promotion and my baby turning 20! During all that I managed to have a record month in June with 10 closings ! Russell and I are working hard together to build our property management division while maintaining our sales and listings! We are thankful everyday for our business! So make it a "Selfie Summer" and enjoy it before it is gone!

My clients looked at many pre-owned homes and just were not finding anything they liked. The homes needed upgrades and they were not thrilled with the floorplans. So I said "Brand new construction may be the best route for you!" I took them to  Kensington Park, a brand new subdivision in Mcclendon Chisholm located minutes from I-30 off 205! Home sales in the Rockwall area were down 9% in June 2014 compared to last year, with 197 homes selling this month. So far this year, overall home sales have a decrease of 6% , with 874 homes sold. New Rockwall real estate listings increased 21% from last year, with 290 homes listed this month. For the year-to-date, home listings have increased 6%, with 1,448 homes listed.
