December's Season of Celebration & Sharing | A Family Tradition Is Born |  Rockwall  A Family Tradition Is Born!    As part of my December Season of Celebration & Sharing, I would like to share a favorite of mine.  A family tradition can be started at any time, especially during the Christmas Holidays. My family loves the Christmas Holidays.  A few years ago we drew names at our Thanksgiving Dinner.  The ONLY rules were that everyone had to make a gift for the person whose name they drew.  That's right, we had to give presents made by our own hands!  There was a little moaning & groaning at first, but everyone soon got into the excitement and spirit of the season.  Is it just wrong to love a phone?  My Torrid Love Affairs with Technology  Then & Now   Flash Back - Early 1996   Then I met a tall handsome Robot at an NAR convention in 1996 and I could not stop thinking about him!  I was totally infatuated with this cutie strutting around on the stage promoting amazing technology planned for the real estate industry.  Of course, like any star struck groupie, I fought my way back stage after the show and expressed my love. I found out this tall handsome dude of a Robot was going to be in Dallas in a couple of weeks.  That was all it took, and I quickly wrangled a date with my new robot dreamboat and wanted to show him off to my office of about 70 agents and staff at our next office meeting. December's Season of Celebration & Sharing | Helping Hands Toy Drive | Rockwall County  Out & About Rockwall Celebrate & Enjoy the Christmas Season Donate to Helping Hands Toy Drive     Helping Hands continues to provide excellent assistance to Rockwall County and it is now time for their toy drive.  During the 2010 Christmas season Helping Hands provided toys for 1,295 children from 479 families.  It is easy to see that Helping Hands is going to need some help as this is a lot of toys.  Children from infants to 16 years old whose parents are not able to provide Christmas gifts this season will receive gifts.  They will try to provide three gifts per child with a value of $15 - $30.   Rockwall residents...please be generous and get out & about and donate to the Helping Hands Toy Drive f... 12/01/2011
