Fly Where You Live or Live Where You Fly. If you have a plane, want a plane, or just like hanging out with flyers you can search for homes with hangars here. There are a couple of different options around the DFW Dallas Fort Worth area. You can buy a place that has access to a runway...someplace like Hicks Airfield in Haslet or Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke, both just north of Fort Worth.  The other alternative is to buy a home with a hanger right on the airstrip.  One airstrip you will definately want to check out is Aero Country Estates in McKinney.   Located near the corner of Highway 380 and Custer, it's a great location in Metroplex, with all the amenities for family living nearby and including excellent McKinney schools.   Other alternatives are to buy a home with your own... 01/28/2011
