Mardi Gras is a fun time of year in our area. With tons of parades and events in Galveston, it is easy to miss some of the other places that are celebrating Mardi Gras! The 52nd Annual Kemah Boat Lane Parade will be held this Saturday (December 14th) at 6:00pm!  This event is a local favorite so you should add it to your calendar if you haven't had the opportunity to experience it yet.  Boat owners decorate their boats with Christmas light displays that are amazing and some even have coordinated light shows. There is something special about watching these boats with their reflection over the water. A truly unique experience. Some toss treats from the deck to the Kemah Boardwalk area. It is almost here....Mardi Gras!  Make your plans to attend the 4th Annual Yachty Gras Boat Parade The Boat Parade will be held February 9th beginning at 7pm.  The "After Party" will be held at Outrigger's.  The parade will begin at the Seabrook Channel and proceed past the Kemah Boardwalk.   The Parade Judges will be located at the Kemah Boardwalk and at Outrigger's under the Seabrook/Kemah Bridge.  Try to arrange for a seat as close to the Judges as you can get and you will have a magnificent view of the decorated boats.
