26% Of Houston Homes For Sale Are NEW CONSTRUCTIONThere are two reasons for this. First, builders are building more new houses. Second, people who already own homes are staying in them longer because they have low mortgage rates.People who are still able to buy houses are more likely to buy new ones because builders are offering them deals, like lower mortgage rates.Home sellers have to compete with builders, who are sometimes offering buyers up to $30,000 in deals. With that much money, buyers can cover the cost of closing on the house, make upgrades, and get a lower mortgage rate. In some cases, people who bought a house from a builder a year ago are now selling it and competing against that same builder for buyers!Check out New Construction Homes For Sale In HOUSTONHouston New Constr...

Don't Expect A Tidlewave Of ForeclosuresThe cost of things like food and gas is going up, and some people are worried that they won't be able to afford their mortgage payments. This could lead to a lot of foreclosures, which is when the bank takes a house away from the homeowner. However, experts say that a flood of foreclosures is unlikely. One reason is that lending standards have tightened, so people who are buying homes are more likely to be able to afford them.Another reason is that the number of homeowners who are seriously behind on their mortgage payments is declining. This means that most people are making their mortgage payments on time, so there is not a large number of people who are at risk of foreclosure. So, if you're worried about a potential flood of foreclosures, there's...
