Here are 4 things you might put on your ‘do not want’ list: Swimming Pool: The cost and hassle of constant maintenance, cleaning and upkeep may not be worth it to you and your family. Keep in mind, if you decide you don’t want the pool anymore, you must get the pool filled in with cement. Basement: Think about what you would need and use this space for – is it space that will sit idle? How much are you willing to spend to make it a living space? Selling a home can be hard emotionally.  It's likely a place that you've made a lot of memories in.  Maybe it was your first home that you purchased together as a couple - maybe it's your childhood home that your parents are ready to move on from.  There's a whole lot of reasons in between those two but, whatever your reasoning is you must keep your emotions in check throughout the process. The sale of your home can only take place when both parties are willing to do the deal.  Understand the offer and be ready to respond within the role you are in.  This means you must separate yourself from the position of being right and knowing it all or else you will appear to be uninformed and out of touch.Divorce yourself emotionally from the house as best as possible and sever your emotional ties...

Japanese Gardens in WinterFort Worth, TX There is beauty in all seasons. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth year round is a luxury. It is something I never take for granted. To fully appreciate the seasons, it's best to see and experience the Gardens at different times of the year. No two experiences are alike.  Winter - photo taken 2/1/2016Summer - photo taken in 2015 What I like about winter at the Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth, TX is that everything doesn't go dormant. It's a season of hope and dreams. The water pond is still very active with turtles, ducks and images of people and reflections. Signs of life in the pond symbolizes renewal of the connection between summer, winter; the seasons of human existence. A garden in winter is Paradise!...

POPPIES Poppies were blooming in Fort Worth yesterday straight out of the ground! I wasn't the only one to gather around their opening day! They were such a beautiful sight! I hope you enjoy them too!  May these poppies uplift your spirits today and give you something to smile about too. When you think about it, these short lived perrenial plants are very resilient. When they are ready to show up - they show up! Timing is everything.  I look at the Poppies and I see beauty! Perfection! Purity! Resurrection! Joy! High hopes!!! They are vivid in color and such a showy flower too! I am reminded of the cycle of life, to start life anew! These flowers range in colors of vermillion orange, red, pink, white and yellow. If there are other colors, I haven't been lucky enough to see them. Yet, I...

The Fort Worth/Dallas Metro-Plex is a pretty vibrant economy.  Are there a lot of people in the oil and gas business?  Yes.  But, that is not the driving force behind our economy.  The oil and gas business is becoming less of a factor when it comes to over economy of the Metro-Plex.  High Tech and Medical has over taken the effect of the Oil and Gas business.  We have major corporations relocating to the area because of a business friendly environment.  If I remember, I got this from one of my lenders, the Metro-Plex has about 15000 "out of state" people moving to the area each month and just a very small portion are related to the oil and gas business.According to the Fort Worth Business press latest issue, the outlook for 2016 Multifamily is strong.  In 2015 the Dallas/Fort Worth Me...
