With the weather getting so nice now I try to take a break from the office, computer, and phones at lunch time.  Last week I went to one of the local parks in Bastrop.  Fisherman's Park.  On the way I stopped and picked up a sandwich.  One of the great local restrauntsi n the area is  The Roadhouse. They have great food!  (And if you can't head to the park they have a great patio where you can sit under an umbrella and enjoy the day).  Fisherman's Park is nestled below Old Town Bastrop, under the bridge down by the Colorado River.    The park has a baseball diamond, tennis courts, a playing field, great playground, boat dock for the Colorado, two large pavilions with a huge bar-b-que and smoker, picnic tables, large trees, and a well maintained grassy bank where we humans can go down to... 10/28/2007
