Photo Journalism - Saving the Easter Bunny A long time ago, and several days (or weeks) before Easter Sunday, my children (both very young at the time) found three baby bunnies in the grass. Two were dead and one was alive. We looked all around and did not see the mother. So, we sat on the stoop waiting to see if the mother rabbit (or hare) would hop on by. When that did not happen, I carefully picked up the one that was still breathing. Then I wrapped in in a cloth baby diaper.
