     Fiber in the 'Boro 2012  The 2nd annual Fiber in the Boro festival takes place October 19 - 20, 2012 at the Lane Agri-Park Livestock Barn located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd in Murfreesboro Tennesee. The festival will be a little different than is was last year. There will be classes all day Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th. There will be  a night market set up Friday night and a full market from 10:00 - 5:00 on Saturday. There should be fiber animals in the barn for kids to see and pet, and plenty of other family activities and educational activities as well.  The above video is footage of the Harvet Days and Fiber Festival in Murfreesboro Tennessee. International FolkFest is a week-long festival that features performances by dance groups from around the world. On the last day of the festival, festivities take place on the north side of the public square and the Hugh Robinson Circle. Ethic foods and arts and crafts are also featured at this festival.  Cannonsburgh pioneer Village represents about 100 years of early Tennessee life from the 1830's to the 1930's. Inside the Village is a school house, a general store, telephone operator's house, grist mill, the Leeman House, a museum, a caboose, a wedding chapel, a doctor's office, the University house, a blacksmith's shop, a well, and of course, the world's largest cedar bucket! Guided tours are available for a small fee but self-guided tours are free. The Visitor Center has a wide variety of items for sale including post cards, T-shirts, snacks, drinks and souvenirs.
