The last couple of days we have unseasonably warm days with temperatures in the middle thirties and low forties.  We even set a few records in the area today with a couple of communities reaching fifty degrees. That's amazing for North Dakota in the first half of February.There was a lot of melting going on leading to that age old question... where did the white go? Instead of a beautiful blanket of pure whit snow we now have a dirty mess everywhere. It's not a smart time to wash your ride either. By the time you get a block away from the car wash you will need to wash it again. Oh well, I'll take the good (unseasonably warm temperatures) with the bad (a dirty mess everywhere).  02/11/2022

As lending rules have tightened up in Canada over the last year, we've seen an increase in the number of days on market for lower, entry level homes. I attest this to the fact that younger people are continuing to rent instead of doing everything in their power to save up and purchase their first home. There are a number of reasons that owning a house is far superior to renting. 1. Often times, properties will be shopped around through a network of known buyers before they are made available to the public. House Hunters Online Search Edition: Last week I met with some new buyers for the very first time. It was a young family and they were preparing to buy their first home. They were so excited because they found many homes listed online in the Town of Queen Creek that were well within their price range. They did all of the right things, got their pre-approval from a lender, had discussions with their landlord about moving and contacted a local, full-time Realtor. For the third consecutive year, Saskatoon is the fastest growing city of any census metropolitan area in Canada, according to StatsCan. Saskatoon grew at a rate of 40.4 per thousand, the first time a city has grown at that rate in over 15 years. The population as of July 1, 2012 was 284,000, an increase of 11,200 from July 1 of 2011.
