Yes, it's me again. I always have the strangest things happen to me!!!  It was late in the afternoon and I was fixing dinner for my fur babies. My oldest aussie, Stormy, is terrified of storms and is a closet troll, that's were she hangs out all the time now.  Anyway, of course she was hiding in the closet and I had put the other dogs in my sunroom so I could fix their dinner without them driving me nuts. So I finish their dinners and step into my sunroom to hopefully gain control of the mob so they would not kill each other rushing through the door. I stepped into the sunroom and look around at everybody and there is a malamute, a catahoula and 2 aussies standing there looking at me.  Okay, I have 1 malamute, 1 catahoula and 2 aussies...remember I said my 1 aussie was in the house hidi...

Landsford Canal State Park If you live near Rock Hill SC or around the Charlotte NC Metro area and you would like to take a day trip and see some beautiful sites, here's a suggestion. Landsford Canal in Catawba, SC just outside of Rock Hill, SC and the park is pet friendly. Easy to get to, I-77 to exit 77 and go east for about 15 to 20 minutes and the Landsford Canal entrance is on the left. I am very fortunate to live about 5 minutes from the canal and can go over when I have a little time to kill...and if I can drag my husband away from the house. When we are very adventuresome and I mean very, we will take all 5 of our dogs. Usually we take the 2 young kids which are fairly easy to handle especially when we do not have our ex-racing greyhound with us who walks like a drunk on a leash...
