In 2008 there were 40 properties sold at an average price of $1,051,334. The average sold DOM was 256. In 2009 there were 73 properties sold at an average price of $979,511. The average sold DOM was 222. Based on the above statistics the average sold property price in 2009 was down 7% from 2008. The number of properties sold in 2009 was up 83% from the number sold in 2008. The average sold DOM in 2009 has decreased by 13% as compared to 2008.  Isle of Palms Home Sales DataDecember 2009   Isle of Palms had 10 single family detached homes sell during December with an average sales price of $1,318,200 and median price of $1,300,000. This was a slight increase over November sales with a 79% increase in average sales price and a 152% increase in median price. The highest priced home sold for $2,360,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $527,000.   The average number of days on market was 213 which was an increase over the previous months DOM of 199. On average, homes sold for 85% of the list price. For every home sold in December, 1.8 homes were newly listed for sale. Isle of Palms Home Sales DataNovember 2009 Isle of Palms had 8 single family detached homes sell during November with an average sales price of $736,312 and median price of $516,250. This was one less home than sold in October with a 21% decrease in average sales price and a 29% decrease in median price. The highest priced home sold for $2,500,017 and the lowest priced home sold for $535,000.   The average number of days on market was 199 which was a slight decrease over the previous months DOM of 208. On average, homes sold for 89% of the list price. For every home sold in November, 1.375 homes were newly listed for sale. SCGA Junior Amateur Golf Local Isle of Palms young man wins the South Carolina Golf Association Junior Amateur Golf tournament. Caulder Moore, son of Polly and Richard Moore of the Isle of Palms, shot an unbelievable 63 on the last day of the tournament to move from 5 shots behind the leader to 2 shots ahead of the leader. To say that Caulder Moore had a great day in an understatement.  Everyone is in awe of the day that Caulder had. Caulder is a rising senior of Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant and plays on the Wando golf team.  He has committed to University of South Carolina to play on their golf team.
