  Spanish Moss Trail – Beaufort SC When complete the Spanish Moss Trail will run from the town of Port Royal SC, through the city of Beaufort SC, to the Whale Branch River and hopefully beyond. The first mile was complete Nov. 20 of this year, and runs from Depot Road to Allison Road in Beaufort. The trail is a concrete path for walking, biking, jogging and enjoying the beautiful Beaufort weather. The pride and joy of my previous year was no doubt, Carolina Village. A residential lot turned adorable, award winning community, made me smile most every day. As we are putting the finishing touches on the last two homes, my trips through the neighborhood aren't quite as frequent as required last year. Instead of once every hour, it is now about twice a week. Do not tell me about the labor; just show me the baby. As one of my grandpa’s typically strange yet incredibly poignant statements, it actually applies to my everyday real estate life. Day after day I hear agents going in to nauseating detail about everything single thing they had to do in order to get the deal done. I say nauseating not because their proclamations annoy me rather the work itself is, in fact, nauseating. The amount of work that goes into to a supposed simple transaction is enough to fill any tank, but the amount of work required in a short sale is almost unfathomable. As cooler temperatures come without beckon and barely without warning, I find myself praising seat warmers and cursing cold feet. My genetics require a consistent 75 degrees in order to function in a socially acceptable manner.
