Seven Moons Restaurant in North Kingstown RI .   They are located at 6900 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI just a quarter mile north of the Quonset entrance.     Now knowing local businesses and what they bring to real estate in the town of North Kingstown is part of my expertise and doing my real estate business well.  Many commercial businesses have been severely hurt by this recession.  So it is important to recognize the local businesses that bring jobs to North Kingstown and help sustain as well as add to the local economy.  Seven Moons is doing just that.                                                This restaurant is a location destination to tantalize any diner's palate that enjoys Asian cuisine.  In fact the name 'Seven Moons' refers to the 7 types of East Asian cuisine on thei...

Looking for a few good buyers in North Kingstown, RI 02852 - sounds interesting...well I was at the sign store having some web site riders made up when the business owner showed me a sign he was making up for another realtor.  Yes, it was to say " Looking for a few good buyers in North Kingstown, RI 02852".  Well I do understand the chagrin the other realtor was feeling in doing this sign but where would he place it!! Not on my house or my office you don't- I say! It has challenged me also this month to get clients pre-approved through the mortgage lenders as the buyers credit scores are not where they need to be.  More work is definitely needed by the buyers to get their credit card outstandings under control and their general debt to income ratio in line with the lenders parameters.  ...

The Rally for the Plum Beach Lighthouse on Narragansett Bay,North Kingstown, RI 02852- License Plates no less!  The rally for the restoration of the Plum Beach Lighthouse in Narragansett Bay off of North Kingstown, RI 02852 and just on the north side of the Verrazano Jamestown bridge is amazing.  A transformation and restoration that took years and dedication in fundraising by the Friends of the Plum Beach Lighthouse, Inc. It is a tribute to the people who supported the restoration of this rusty bucket of a lighthouse into a pride and joy of  Narragansett Bay, RI.  Now all travelers over the Verrazano bridge can see it in all its original detail and it's a proud symbol of our great Narragansett Bay waterway. Why the name Plum Beach?  As a name, it comes from the wonderful Plum beach hom...

I've been happily released from my 'boot' for my broken foot and as the Realtor Woman in North Kingstown, RI in the sparkly red shoes ( yes, Dorothy of Oz type shoes but it's Ginny of Oz for me now) i've been like a tornado around South County RI.  It's true freedom again and again as I move through every day being grateful for the friends and support that allow me to do my Realtor job well and successfully.  Getting right down to being able to walk through rain soaked backyards & water logged basements in the Southern RI towns of North Kingstown, Jamestown & Narragansett, RI is less of an issue as it is farther north in RI- but it's still wet here.  Oh, yes, I do wear rubber boots when I head to some of the houses this past Saturday in North Kingstown (www.northkingstown.org for more i...

As you can tell from my blogs I do enjoy Wickford RI with all its history, candy colored historic homes, the  wonderful Narragansett Bay location & the great luck to have a specialty store like Needle Designs a stone's throw down the road at 460 Tower Hill Road in North Kingstown RI (perhaps unique to RI but Wickford RI is the village within the town of North Kingstown RI- confused yet!).  The candy colored historic houses of Wickford RI are a definite segue into this store which is a favorite of mine.  Somewhat bias I suppose but they do all my embroidery for gifts.  What is the store you ask?  Needle Designs is the place. Especially for my son who is an arborist in South County, RI and all his business apparel is done with sweet success by this company.  Now Needle Designs is in a sma...

For clients of mine asking for a community that has a "home like" or "small town" feel, a lot of times I refer them to the city of North Kingston.  It has so many great features....quaint Bed and Breakfasts, great boating and fishing, and fine dinning.  When I come to this area I also make it a point to visit one of the four art museums. This area has so much to offer.
