What Crowdtilt Will Do For Local RI Business   A local clothing store that has been a mainstay of Wickford RI main street for decades (7 to be exact!) turned to Crowdtilt (an on line crowd funding source) to raise money to salvage them from bankruptcy.  In less than a month over $150,000 was raised to pay vendors, bring in new fall stock and streamline the store to meet the demands of now.  It was just amazing to me that this all took place in a little RI village in southern Rhode Island real estate...that this amount of money was raised in a short period of time because of how past customers felt about salvaging small business America.   Will it make a difference for the long term?  Well as they say time will tell but it is an example again how Social Media is so important to all busin... 07/30/2014
