All along the Main Line in Devon and Wayne particularly we find Victorian homes. As stated in my post Not All Victorians are Alike there are many around the town of Wayne. On both sides of Route 30, Lancaster Avenue, in North and South Wayne we find Victorian homes, on Midland, N. and S. Wayne Avenues, all the tree named streets in N. Wayne and many others.These Victorians do have a similar look, but as you go through them you notice certain features which make this or that one stand out. Sometimes as in our last post it was the openess and the repeating Rythm Motif of the Gothic Arch.Today I was touring homes previewing for a client and I was in South Wayne when as I walked up the stairs I noticed these rather fine terminals to the posts on the stairs. Most likely these would have been... 03/28/2017
