My Mother - in - law's favorite Christmas Cookie!    Cut Graham Crackers in half and then in half again.  Then cut one more time to make petite “Four Square” (Four equal sides) You should now have twice as many squares as the number of cookies you want to make. Spread half with creamy peanut butter and place the others on top. Dip in melted chocolate. (We prefer dark chocolate) and place on wax paper.  Top each cookie with a pecan. (Any nut or an M&M will do also.)  Store in cool place.  Don HessKW EliteKeller Williams Realty1280 Plaza Blvd.Lancaster, PA 17601717-553-2500 Office717-715-6288 Mobile717-786-7967 Directdonhess39@gmail.com

Providence Township is ready to span a gap in the Low Grade Rail Trail. Early next year construction will begin on a 210 foot bridge to carry walkers and bicycle riders over Route 222 at Quarryville. The new bridge will be built at the site of a stone arch that once carried the Enola Low Grade freight rail line over the highway. The arch had become a traffic hazard, and was torn down in 2009. Once that was removed it was nearly impossible for walkers and bikers to get across route 222. Construction is expected to begin in March and be completed by fall.  The steel girder bridge will be supported by concrete abutments stamped with a stone pattern. Building an arched bridge to resemble the old structure was too expensive.  The center 80' of the bridge will have chain link fence instal...
